It is quite important you do not forget to sprits or mist your mushroom kit. As we have pointed out before, too much water is going to be really bad, but so is too little. We suggest buying a small water bottle with a trigger misting device – about 250ml is plenty – and set the nozzle to mist. You want a medium flow, so not too much water, but not too little either. About what the hairdresser sets theirs on is a good indicator of how it should be.

Then spray the front of the bag that you cut with two or three pulls of the trigger at about 15cm distance. You just want the water droplets to hit and sit on the plastic, not penetrate and soak it.

Do this morning and night and if the temperature is more than 25C, one short burst at lunchtime won’t hurt.
